For education in Spain the combination of centuries-old academic traditions to dynamism of the curriculums adapting for requirements of today's Europe, is characteristic. Universities in Barcelona and Granada are widely known in the world also. The Barcelonian University has appeared in 1450, and Granada's - in 1526. To the most prestigious state high schools of the country carry also some more of so called "young" universities - Madrid, Seville and Valencian.
